House of Kolor Shimrin C2C Root Beer Kandy Basecoat (C2C-KBC07.Q01), factory-pack one-quart container. A translucent Kandy basecoat blending Kandy and select pearls into a Shimrin basecoat for custom automotive refinishing. Apply over one even House of Kolor ground-coat color, which strongly affects the result. Mix 2 parts basecoat with 1 part specified reducer. Apply 3–4 medium coats with 75% overlap, allowing coats to flash dull. Reducer and clearcoat are not included. Consult current TDS and SDS and follow applicable local requirements.
Sizes and Lead Time
- Quart (factory pack): the factory-packed can described above.
- 8 oz and Pint (16 oz): custom-mixed to order to the House of Kolor S2-KBC07 Root Beer formula. Lead time: mixed to order, ships in about 2 business days.
Custom-mixed colour is made to the factory formula; actual colour varies with ground coat and application. These mixed sizes use the Shimrin2 (S2) basecoat formulation, which differs from the factory-pack quart; check that it suits your system and local VOC requirements.
