General Return Policy for Non-Hazardous Goods and Non-Spray-Equipment

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

We DO NOT accept exchange requests. If you ordered or received the wrong product, please contact us for return, and place a new order for the correct item.

We DO NOT ship missing parts. If you discover a missing part from our shipment, please submit a return request, and place a new order for the same item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Additional RETURN POLICY for Spray Equipment

Our Guarantee: ALL SPRAY EQUIPMENT IN "NEW CONDITION" SOLD ARE IN ORIGINAL FACTORY PACKAGE WITH SEAL AND SERIAL NUMBER RECORDED. 

For safety reasons, we DO NOT accept return on used SPRAY EQUIPMENT. If you experience any suspected quality issues, please reach out to the manufacturer for warranty claims.

If you return unused, but open-seal spray equipment, North Auto Direct reserves the right to charge up to 20% of restocking fee.

IMPORTANT!!! Additional RETURN POLICY for Hazardous Goods

If you choose to return hazardous goods, such as flammable liquids, be advised it is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure the integrity of the package being returned, and the customer has to assume liability to ship the returned goods, should the shipment cause any bodily harm or financial damages. We cannot provide pre-paid shipping labels for returning Hazardous Goods. 

Other Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as personal protection equipment). 

We cannot accept returns on items labelled as "FINAL SALE", "OPEN BOX", "USED" or gift cards.

Return Shipping Policy 

- Return shipping cost is the sole responsibility of the buyer unless the following situations apply:

1. We sent you the product that is different than what you ordered;

2. The product was labelled wrong;

3. Damaged in transport, courier damage claim number needed; please see FAQ for details.

4. Product is defective; please see FAQ for details.

In the above cases, we will send you a pre-paid label or Canada Post return code.

- If you receive any damaged product, please reach out to the courier first and file a claim with them. With the claim number on hand we can then proceed with your refund claim.

- Please return the product via a method that can be tracked, i.e. Purolator/Canada Post/UPS/FedEx. We cannot process your return until your product has been received. Please keep the tracking number provided by the carrier in the event that the package needs to be tracked.

- Refunds are given within 14 days of original order shipment date

- Refunding of returned goods can take up to 30 days following reception of the return.

- The return conditions listed above must be followed and respected in order to receive a refund. If these conditions are not met, the returned goods will be shipped back to you with ‘collect’ shipping charges.

Restocking Fee and Outbound Shipment Charges:

North Auto Direct retains the right to charge a restocking fee up to 20% of the value (minimum $10) of the returned items if none of the reason-to-return listed above is selected and validated.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

⚠️ Important Notice About Chargebacks

Please be advised:
If you choose to file a chargeback claim with your payment service provider—such as your credit card issuer or PayPal—we will no longer be able to assist you directly with resolving the issue.

Once a chargeback is initiated, all communications and resolution efforts must go through your payment provider. They will contact us on your behalf to investigate and determine the outcome of your claim.

We strongly encourage customers to reach out to us first so we can work together toward a prompt and fair resolution. Our support team is here to help, and most issues can be resolved quickly without the need for a formal dispute.
