Dupli-Color® Sandable Primer is an all-purpose, fast-drying primer that can be sanded to a smooth finish to help achieve topcoat uniformity. Great for smooth fill-in of surface cracks and imperfections and is effective on both painted and unpainted surfaces.

UsageMetal, pre-painted surfaces

PrepPrepare surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. For best results, use a Dupli-Color Prep Wipe (PW100) or Grease and Wax Remover to clean surface. Sand surface with 320 - grit sandpaper, wet or dry. Wash with mild soap and water. Rinse well and dry with a cloth.

ApplicationTo spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from surface and use in an even, sweeping motion. To avoid runs and sags, apply in 2 coats. If needed, sanding can be done wet or dry after 30 minutes with 600-grit sandpaper. When primer application is complete, wait 30 minutes before applying color coat. Covers approximately 12-14 square feet. After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
