3M™ Heavy-Bodied Seam Sealer (08308) is a black, two-part epoxy paste in a 200 mL dual-syringe cartridge. Its self-mixing system meters the components through a mixing nozzle, while the heavy-bodied, non-flowing formula can be tooled and textured to reproduce OEM-style seams.

  • For general-purpose automotive seam sealing, including door skins, floor pans, trunk floors and roof seams.
  • Suitable for vertical and horizontal seams; 3M specifies use on surfaces primed with 2K urethane or 2K epoxy primer, or clean, sanded paint.
  • Work time: 6 minutes; full cure: 1 hour (per 3M typical properties).
  • One 200 mL cartridge; sold individually. Applicator and mixing nozzle are not stated as included with this cartridge.

Spray equipment is returnable only if unused with its factory seal unbroken; used or installed spray equipment and custom-mixed paint are not returnable.
